Interpersonal/Relationship/Solution-Focused group to address unhealthy coping strategies and destructive behaviors, including disordered eating, excessive exercise, substance use, isolation, procrastination, irritability, self-sabotaging, etc. The group will focus on ways to increase healthy self-care strategies, including increasing connections with others, having healthier friendships and romantic relationships, self-esteem and assertiveness skills. Gain peer support and alternative viewpoints while sharing your challenges and celebrating your successes in a safe and confidential environment. Find a happier, healthier you!

Expressive Arts Therapy

A judgment-free place to make art, be real, be seen, be heard. Painting, collage, writing, photography, drama, no experience necessary. Participants will explore teen issues and problems. A time to turn down the volume on the inner critic, and turn-up a gentler, more playful, forgiving, creative one-of-a-kind Self.

Mind Over Mood & Food

This is no picnic! Recovery is work! This CBT/Interpersonal/Solution group for young women recovering from eating disorders will challenge you to make recovery happen. Problems related to identity, relationships, independence, body image, unrealistic thinking and self-esteem get our attention! New coping skills replace unhealthy thinking and behavior patterns. Members learn how to manage emotions as they discover relational patterns and underlying issues related to eating disordered thoughts and behaviors. Get the support of women like you and strategies for recovery, relapse prevention, and self-empowerment.

Mind Over Mood & Food for Teens

You go girl! Get over this illness now! This CBT/Relational/Solution focused group for high school teens will help you beat the beast and obsessions of eating disorders, body image, weight, scales, numbers and the cultural of the thin ideal. Who do you want to be? Healthy body and mind? You've got opportunities you don't want to waste away. Identity, career goal-setting, college prep, self-care, school drama, assertiveness and relationship skills are just a few topics we'll discuss. Got to know how society and media influences you so you can make your own choices. Yeh, first group is scary, but everyone has their first group and they are there for you as a confidential place to work on these issues. With your participation, you'll get your voice back and find your true SELF again. This group helps teens at the crossroads to safely meet the challenges and choices of becoming a young woman in today's complicated, media saturated, techno world life of today and in the future.

Feelings and Food

What's age got to do with it? Everything!! This CBT/Interpersonal group for adult women focuses on breaking the destructive link between feelings and food when dealing with the special responsibilities and challenges of life stage changes. Learn to manage a new relationship with food and your emotions while developing healthy eating behavior, coping skills and interpersonal connections while strengthening your voice and nurturing self-esteem in a supportive environment.

ED Parent Education & Support Group

Psycho-educational support group to address the recovery process while teaching parents coping and communication skills to support loved ones in treatment for eating disorders. Group supports parents to ask questions, share feelings, frustrations, fears, questions and hopes common to all who confront the process of change while coping with these disorders.
